My Ph.D. study focuses on understanding the ecology, recruitment processes, and different habitat utilizations of early life stages of Greenland halibut and Pacific halibut in the eastern Bering Sea. The multifaceted approach of my Ph.D. research gives me the opportunity to master field, lab, and analytical techniques related to the study of fish ecology in the oceans.
